Riding his motorcycle from his home, Steve Rogers stopped at his favorite restaurant in the city. Finding a park, he took off his helmet and placed it under the seat. Steve wasn't wearing his Captain America attire, just some regular clothes, jacket, t-shirt, khaki pants and shoes. He's going to have lunch today with one of his fellow allies, member and co-leader of The Ultimate's, Tony Stark. Over the years, Steve didn't know who to trust when he came back from the "dead" and even though Stark could be annoying at times, Rogers trusted him. This is Howard Stark's son were talking about. Steve had his disagreements with Tony and knew he would because he wanted to talk to him about something that's bugging Captain America...Zarda. There was something about her that Steve did not trust still. Hopefully talking to Tony and having lunch with him could settle his views.
Coming inside the restaurant, a waiter guides him to a table as Steve follows the waiter. Along the way Steve says his hello's and greets others in the place. People still remember him as Captain America and his service to America during WWII. It made him an icon and a hero to everyone around the world. He still missed a lot of people like Bucky, Dum Dum Dugan, and even Peggy Carter, his true love. Even though they're around, Steve wasn't alone still. He sat down as the waiter gave him a menu. "Someone else is coming so you can leave the other menu", he told the waiter. Looking at the menu there were a lot of stuff he liked then looked at his watch. It was early so Tony wasn't late, the man's busy and has a lot to do these days. Everyone was happy and enjoying life that the doomsday clones were no longer here anymore. Did Steve trust the government? Not anymore, he could only trust The Ultimate's and some in the council.

Tony was down in his work shop tinkering around with one of his suits trying to come up with ways to improve it for the next time he might need it. He had the music as loud as could be just the way he liked it. He moved from the suit back to the holo-blueprints he flipped through them until he found what he was looking for then zoomed in on it. While he was working on it Pepper came down the stairs unlocked the door instead of trying to get Tony's attention she walked over and turned off the radio before walking over to Tony “Your late for a lunch date with Steve.” not looking away form the blueprints “That was today?” he asked with out stopping what he was doing. “Yes, you know Steve is going to be mad if you don't go and he will come looking for you.” Tony sighed as the blueprints faded away “Alright I'll take a quick shower and get this over with.” he walked off leaving Pepper behind heading to his room he stripped and jumped into the shower a few minuets later he got out and got dressed in a pair of black slacks and light blue long sleeved button down shirt. Leaving his room he walked down to the garage grabbed a set of keys and hoped into a red sports car and taking off.
It was a short trip to the restaurant he dropped his keys off with the valet before making his way inside and followed the woman to the table where Steve was waiting for him. “Hey Steve, so why did you want to have lunch?” he asked after ordering a soda to drink took his sunglasses off and began looking over the menu to see what was good to eat.

As Steve put down the order, he saw Tony coming and smiled at the prodigal son of Howard and Maria Stark. As long as Steve knew Tony, one thing he couldn’t stand was the man’s arrogance and at times joking around way too much. He couldn’t understood how anyone could put up with him. At first Steve saw the big ego in Tony, he loved being the headliner, the main event, the icon of the world. He may be the world’s most richest man and Iron Man but he backs it up. That’s what Steve liked about Tony, he had everything, his iron suits, companies, you name it. “Well hello there Tony, thanks for coming, you look good”, he said to him. Steve looked at his watched and yeah Tony was late, always caught up working on his suits or whatever he is doing.
Tony asked him why he wanted to have lunch with him, Steve took a deep breath before looking at him straight in the eye. Stark was a busying man these days so there‘s no time to waste. He trusted Tony, the Ultimate’s and the other heroes of the world but then there‘s Zarda, which laid a question mark on her.“The reason for all of this is because of one person….Zarda”, he told him before continuing. “I just feel that I can’t trust her for some reason Tony. You know me, I fight and live for the dream everyday when I get up, when I put on the red, white and blue, I give it my all with you and the others”, he told Tony but continued on. “I feel that I can’t trust Zarda for some reason Tony, I trust you, the Ultimate’s and the allies”, he said to him. “What do you think about Zarda from your view of her?”, asking him for his opinion.

After a while of looking the menu over Tony put in his order for once not flirting with the very lovely waitress mainly because he really wanted to know what Steve had wanted. “You don’t look to shabby yourself.” he picked up the soda drinking it while he listened what Steve had to stay this was all about Zarda? Figures. He didn’t blame Steve to be worried about Zarda she’s a handful at times even when she had been apart of the Avengers if she wasn’t ready to rip everyone’s head off she was trying to get into everyone’s pants and probably had with most if not the whole team. Sleeping around was a lot better then killing people he thought at lest.
“Zarda’s always been a powder keg waiting to explode even when she was apart of the Avengers. But that was nearly ten years ago over the years she’s changed like everyone else has. Especially now that she’s running things well with the council at lest. She’s doing a whole lot better now that she’s on those meds keeping her crazy in check and Victoria keeps on her to take them as much as Pepper does me as well as Donna helping her out.” He leaned back in his chair “Everyone has their faults I mean look at us no sane person would do our jobs but we do it every day with out a second thought.” He shrugged “It could be a hell of a lot worst then her it could be someone like the Red Skull or Dr. Doom if he was still alive.”

Steve sat back and listen to Tony. There were things he did not know about Zarda that much, such as taking her meds to keep her in check from going crazy. Zarda was just like Tony and the others, they want to improve the world and make it better. He didn't mean to come off as judgmental like to treat Zarda different because that's not the point. Trust, that's the main issue, and if Steve could not trust Zarda and she went loose, all bets were off. Coming from Tony, he did make some good points about Zarda. No one in this world is perfect or even the greatest. We all have our mistakes from time to time, all you had to do was to learn from them. Once Tony was done, he nodded his head, meaning he understood
"You do make a point. It would be worse if even Red Skull lead this world because all he would do is just take us back", he said to Tony. Steve will never trust the Red Skull or any enemy that invaded this city because he will never change. The waiter came back with a soda that Steve ordered before continuing. "I'll take your word on it Tony. It's just that i've been through a lot after I was brought back to life. I know I trust you, her, and the others but I promise that I will try my best to be upfront and talk to Zarda or you if I have problems with what's going on", he told him. Steve was never afraid to speak his mind because that gave Cap the freedom to do and say whatever he want, whether the people like it or not.

“If he's still alive.” That was something Tony just realized they had no idea if the Red Skull was still alive or not along with a number of other villains it was a lot harder for them to tell who was still alive on that end. It's not like any of them were going to come forward and tell them who among them was still alive. “True, but when you think about it all of us have pretty much been through hell within almost ten years with the Doomsday clones having brought the world to the edge of death, then we had to go through all the work of cleaning out and burying the bones as we cleaned out the cities so we can rebuild.”
He flagged the waitress to get another soda since his was getting low hopefully their food would be here soon he was getting hungry. “Get a hold of Victoria tell her you want to see Zarda and you two have a talk the only way to trust her is to know her. Don't let her ego get to you, you can handle Namors with out batting an eye you shouldn't have a problem with hers.” with that their food had finally arrived at last and the burger looked a lot better then he thought it would have. Picking it up he took a big bite out of it "Just don't be surprised if she's naked when you meet up with her tends to be a habit of hers she isn't doing it to get to you she just does it I think it's an ancient Greek thing or something."

Stark was on point right now. True, the world was through so much when the clones attacked. People that Steve knew were missing, gone or even presumed dead. He thought it was a fight that no one could win, no one would come out alive. The people, the cops, the firefighters, those who sacrificed there lives to protect the innocent will never be forgotten. “You’re right Tony. If the clones still existed the world would never get back to normal, we wouldn’t be where we are at. But now were at a good place ”, he said to him. He starting eating what he ordered as the waiter gave him his food.
Then there comes the bill. “I’ll pay for it”, he said before looking at Tony. “You don’t have to worry Stark, I got this since I called you here” , he told with a smile. Then Tony told Rogers to get a hold on Victoria and to talk to her, but to not be surprised if he saw her naked since it’s an ancient Greek thing. Steve chuckled a bit. “Thanks for letting me know Tony but don’t worry I will speak with her and see what we can do. I won’t let the ego get the best of me though”, he said. If dealing with Namor was fine then so should the meeting.
