The Final Battle

Zarda stood on top of what was left of the Daily Planet her ships appearing over head this was it the final battle and everything will be freed. After freeing all the other cities everyone knew what to do by now and she didn’t need to give them orders they just went about doing what they’ve been doing. “Time to bring them running.” she pulled out a hand-detonator hitting the button set off a number of explosions they weren’t meant to hurt the Doomsday clones just to wake them up let them know they were there waiting for them. It didn’t take long for them to start showing up just as they did everyone had left the ships and ready for the final battle. She stood there watching her people get things going before she dropped off the golden globe right into the middle of it all. She wasn’t going to let the others have all the fun.

Zarda punched one of the clones in the face sending it away from her for a moment giving her time to look up in the sky it probably wouldn’t belong before her former teammates showed up they did have a way of sticking their noses into everything. Have to play hero thinking everyone loves them still they worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. which was apart of the government. Did Tony really think they were going to welcome the Avengers with open arms? Of course he did Tony was an idiot. She really didn’t know why the other’s were following him so blindly. Maybe not all of them She-Hulk did leave the team and cut all her ties with them wouldn’t even talk with Bruce a few others have left as well or just disappeared probably dead. No doubt sent to their deaths by that fool Tony.

When this battle was over with things where going to change around here fast for the better Zarda already had plans for what she was going to do once the last of the clones were gone. Tony thinks she's going to be a tyrant no better then Doctor Doom well the joke was on him she planned on doing things better then the government ever could ever hope to do. And she knew just the people to talk to there was one she had hoped to add to the group but she had fallen not long after her cousin shame though the blonde's work outside of being a superhero that is could have been useful in the new world.

Tony and the rest of The Avengers were at there underground base. They were going over the latest reports on the doomsday clones and how many were left in the world until an alert came in from Jarvis. Visual's showed that a Doomsday Attack was going on in Metropolis showing all the clones but that other heroes were there in the fight...including Zarda. Man, she must love attention these days. With what was going on, Tony wasn't surprised that she would put something like this. All Zarda's doing is to take over the world and have complete domination.The woman's crazy and insane, she needs help. But anyway, Tony send out the call to all Avengers and to suit up for battle.

Minutes later....

In the Quinjet, Iron Man, War Machine (with the new armor), Ms Marvel, Bruce, and others sit as Ms Marvel flys the jet to Metropolis. As they arrive, Ms Marvel finds a perfect place to land on a building away from the action. As they all got out, they saw what was going on and Tony was impressed with Zarda. Even though she's not an Avenger anymore, she knew how to lead her own kind of team which wasn't that big. Well there were some doombots but they were all the same, nothing brand new. Tony looked at the battlefield before looking back at The Avengers. "Here's the plan, we go in there, find doomsday clones and get rid of them with what we got", he told each every single one of them. "Oh and one more thing", Tony said with a smirk on his face.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE

And with that, each Avenger went into action. Tony was wearing his regular suit and then saw The Hulkbuster II Armor arrive as it landed on the building. "Right on que", he said with a smile on his face at the armor opened up and accepted Tony. Then, Tony blasted off into the city of Metropolis blasting his repulsors at some clones, waking them up from there slumber.

It was a miracle the Avengers quinjet found a decent place to land considering how many buildings in a city that once was home to the world's greatest hero had already been wrecked. The man of Steel was long gone and after today, if they weren't careful and work as a team as opposed to Iron Man trying to prove he was a one man show, it could be the end of all of them. Donna Troy's face was a mask of complete concentration as she sat in the jet from takeoff until landing, focusing on the task ahead. She had no idea of the Justice League and Diana would arrive. That would be nice but Donna was more focused on the Doomsday clones and what would occur afterward.

Things were sure to come to a head between the Avengers and Zarda's army which not only consisted of She Hulk and Fairchild but also her own mother and countless amazon sisters. Zarda had already claimed virtually every other city. The Avengers waited too long, reclaiming them and keeping Zarda from claiming Metropolis also would be a tough row to hoe.

By the time they arrived the Doomsdays were already awakened by Zarda it seemed and it was battle on. Keeping her eyes locked on to the clones she did her best to block out the underlying threat of the Squadron Supreme and all distracting thoughts, instead flying straight for the nearest Doomsday clone. Death could come to any of them at any time. These clones were certainly no pushovers but Donna had been dead before. If that were her destiny yet again she'd go down swinging.

With her lasso unfurled she looped it around her first target and with a loud groan sent it hurtling through the air, off-balance and followed close behind throwing a series of punches that rattled her bones with everyone that landed, hoping the others were faring well also.

Diana had the computers on alert for any large battles between the Doomsday clones and anyone else after the first few times Zarda and her crew had taken a number of cities back from the clones and of course the Avengers were there. She didn’t know what was more annoying Zarda trying to act like she was better then everyone like she was a goddess or Stark trying to steal the spotlight for himself. Then again he did that all the time didn’t he? Always wanting to be in the spotlight wanting all the attention acting like…what was the word they use? Oh yes like a manwhore. She shook her head if she had her way she wouldn’t want either running anything but if she had to pick? It would have to be Zarda as oddly as it sounded the woman actually helped everyone she could find bringing them food, water, whatever else she thought to be useful. But what has Tony done? Build new armors? Sleep with more women? She hadn’t heard anything that he had done other then try and be better then Zarda or make her sound like she was a horrible person all the while not doing anything to help anyone.

Getting up from where she had been sitting she grabbed her lasso heading for the teleported a few seconds she teleported down to the earth just outside the city she didn’t want to be surprised attacked by the Doomsday clones. She lifted off the ground floating upward before taking off towards the city to see what was going on this time around. Looks like it was the same thing that had been done in the other cities of course if it wasn’t broken why fix it? Using her lasso she roped a clone around the head before landing and using her superhuman strength she swung the clone around in a circle causing it to crash into other clones knocking them away before she released the one she had sending it flying off some place.

On the way to the battlefield, Bruce closed his eyes, relaxed, doing his regular breathing exercises to calm himself down before the battle was underway. He thought about Jen, his cousin aka The She Hulk and wondered why she joined Zarda and her pretty faction. If there were problems going on then Jen should of talked to Bruce about it instead of just leaving and cutting ties. It wasn‘t like her to do this and to just leave. What did Zarda have that The Avengers didn‘t? Nothing, probably lies and manipulation so Jen would be the poor victim . Banner didn’t give a damn about her or her weak team, he cared about Jen because they’re family, cousins. The jet landed as The Avengers got out. Tony gave them there orders before taking off into the clones. Bruce has on his gear and knew what to do as he transformed into The Incredible Hulk.

The Hulk took off before finding some clones. He roared at them before running straight to one and started to smash, which The Hulk loves to do. Hulk connected with a huge thunderclap at the clone before he jumped and started grabbing on the clones spikes. The Hulk threw one clone up into the sky before Hulk jumped up and back down bringing the clone hard to the ground. Then Hulk went to the next one pounding his first into the monsters mouth before he took his hands, placing them around the mouth. He started pulling and it was like The Hulk was going to kill the clone and who wouldn’t? Hulk was never afraid about the consequences of what he did when people hurts his loved ones.

Ms Marvel went off in a blaze of glory finding the first clone she found. With her Kree Strikes, she hit the clone right where it hurt as he heard it make some strange noise. Carol didn't care if it was hurt or even dead. She had no remorse for these monsters that our well beloved government created. The doomsday clones killed the allies that Carol cared about except for her loved ones that were brought in the base. Ms Marvel would not hold back and just cut loose, not afraid of breaking down these clones.

Carol flew towards another clone before using her kinetic powers and blasting the clone with everything in her. She would not use all of it, but to each clone, they'll get a taste of there own medicines. Carol's a strong warrio and Avenger, proud to be one to serve her country. No matter what the outcome Carol would continue to fight. It was just sometimes sad to see former people of the team go to Zarda's side. Zarda has different ways of ending people's lives that she and everyone else doesn't deal with it. She continues firing her blasts at the clones and not backing down from them. Carol wasn't afraid to throw down against any opponent and this time is not different.

Zarda had an annoyed look on her face when she heard Stark’s big mouth yelling ‘AVENGERS ASSEMBLE’ does he have any idea how annoying that is? Seriously its that kind of annoying that makes you want to punch the person who says it every time right in the mouth. Once she was running things she was going to ban those two words being said together. Anyone who get’s caught saying it be it man woman or child get’s punched right in the mouth. After the first few times people getting punched they’d stop saying. But until then an evil smile appeared on the goddess face just before catching the fist of one of Doomsday clones instead of killing it she held onto it as she spun around at high speed until it looked like tornado until she let it go sending right at Tony Stark. Let’s see how he likes playing with tiny here. Hope he enjoys her little gift.

While Tony was playing with her gift Zarda jumped back into battle despite the fact that she was going to end up bloody and probably a few broken bones again. No one said fighting these things didn’t come with a price though most of the world had paid that price with their lives. Zarda didn’t plan on joining them any time soon planning on living for a long time after most of these people were dead and she was still calling the shots on what was going to happen with the world.

In the new armor, Rhodey felt invincible..well not that invincible like Tony. In all honesty, he needed an upgrade from the War Machine armor. Doesn't mean that he'll no longer use it, but prefers the brand new one. Blasting the clones one by one, he awaken them from there little slumber, leading them on a wild goose chase. Turned invisible so that the clones wouldn't know what hit them. Going from behind of the clones, Rhodey appeared. "Behind you" he said as his repulsors blasted the clones from behind, killing each one of them. It was never easy but Rhodey pictured himself in battle, in war, just like his time from the marine's. Rhodey's a warrior who never gives up and was not afraid of anything.

Finshing off the last clone, Rhodey noticed a clone flying towards Tony, thanks to Zarda. "Tony look out!" he said, radioed himself to Stark but he flew towards the clone and blasted him with the repulsor rays. With force, Rhodey grabbed the clone and threw it down to the ground hard, thanks to the superhuman strength. Firing off the shots from his galitic gun at the clone, he picked it back up, throwing it back down. He wouldn't let himself have all the fun but man, Zarda was in some kind of wicked mood, trying to take Tony off of his game. She'll never understand team work and what it makes for a good team, communication, also trust. "He's all yours Tony" James said as he flew off to find more clones.

With is repulsor beams and guided missile launchers, Tony Stark was on a mission today. This battle was important to him and The Avengers. The mission was to destroy each of the clones and take back some of the cities whether Zarda likes it or not. Who was she to claim everything? All she tried to do was manipulate people and tell them that Tony Stark was no hero, that he was nothing. Stark was used to people doubting him and not believing in his skills. The thing is, he proved them wrong each and every time. The man is a team player. Once this battle was over, Iron Man and The Avengers WILL come out on top. Zarda may thing she’s tough but not really. If she had problems with how The Avengers were doing during the clone invasion, then she should of come and talk to Tony. Iron Man wasn’t hiding during this time, he and the rest of his teammates were out looking for survivors, those who needed a place to stay. That’s why they took them to there underground base where there’s plenty places for them. Tony and The Avengers didn’t care what Zarda was doing because as far as they are concern…she’s just crazy and lost her mind.

Killing each clone with every power source in his armor, Tony could hear Rhodey telling him to look out. Stark finished off the last clone before seeing Rhodey throw the clone down on the ground. Tony thanked Rhodey before The War Machine took off for other clones. Before he left, Rhodes explained to Tony that it was a gift from Zarda. Stark smirked and shook his head, it’s always people like Zarda trying to take the man off of his game and his focus. Tony was having none of that today as the man raised his right hand. Of the repulsor fist, a laser sword came out. Flying to the clone that was getting up, Tony didn’t care as he cut through the skin, the bones and everywhere. Hearing the scream, the pain and the cries from the clones as it went down. Even though Stark could not feel the blood, which was on his armor, after today was over with, there’s going to be a lot of cleaning up to do. With this clone, he proved a point to Zarda and everyone, Tony will give you everything he’s got in him and will never quit. After this, Zarda and her team will have there hands full with Tony, The Avengers and everyone else.

Mass stupidity all the way around and it all radiated from one central spot. The walking ego in the iron mask. Barking orders and strutting his stuff but to this Amazon he was all talk and no game. He attacked and attacked but there was no solidarity between the team. He and his precious War Machine buddy were in one corner, the Hulk in another and everyone else in their own space while the clones just seemed to pop out of the woodwork.

Zarda on the other hand, she had the Amazons and her other followers behind her. They were working as one. Fighting as one. Moving as one. They had the teamwork thing done which was more than Donna could say for Stark and the Avengers. He can shout Avengers assemble until he's blue in the face, the fool had no clue the shouting might as well be a magnet that drew the horde to him and made him the center of attention. The fool.

Donna Troy had enough. The Power Pri9ncess was right and she belonged with her family, her mother and the Amazons. Her judgment had been clouded and she had been asleep at the switch. Not anymore. She'd just taken her wake-up call.

This Amazon princess had a point to prove and a message to convey and there was only one way to get it through Tony's thick skull, and that was by pounding his thick skull in. Clearly the only way anything would get better is if someone such as Zarda that actually had a clue what was going on instead of their head being shoved up their butt was in charge.

Donna had no regrets at all as she came up from behind Iron Man while he was busy with the latest clone, and with fists full of every ounce of strength she had, strength that rivaled her sister's, whose strength rivaled Superman's and Captain Marvel's. swung both fists like a hammer at the back of Iron Man's head, aiming to disrupt the nerve center of his computerized armor and then flew toward Zarda without a word. Taking her stand by her new team leader, her face showing rage mixed with contempt for Stark. "I'm with you, my queen. Let's finish this"

Far away from the battlefield, at the watch tower satellite that orbits the earth many miles above the surface. Inside a small room that has been sealed off, quarantined and forbidden from access by all except a small handful of people. A stirring occurs.

The lights in the room off save a few that continue to beep monotonously day and night endlessly flickering at regular set unchanged intervals. Many monitors around the room all lay empty, devoid of information. Suddenly, several of them blink on, and fill with data. The sounds of whirring servos and petabyte super processors churn out crunched numbers at incredible speed.

Laying on a table, naked, covered by a sheet lays Power Girl. Unconscious, with an array of cords and wires running into the opening in her chest where the beautiful facade of her mortality is ruptured by an obvious cybernetic implant. Several others riddle her body, she is approximately 40% cybernetic, including most of her brain. Months ago during open cranial brain surgery that Power Girl was performing herself on herself, she made a gross miscalculation that plunged her into a seemingly endless comatose like sleep. Unresponsive and utterly dormant, she has rested here since then... till now.

There's no movement at first.

Then, her fingers twitch and not long after...

... Her eyes Open.

The King of Wakanda, T’ Challa, in his own Avenger Jet was on the way to Metropolis where the battlefield took place. He didn’t come alone, he has hWakandian warriors, the ones he picked best chosen for this situation. Since the doomsday clone invasion, Wakanda was barely destroyed but as the months went by the clones were gone, thanks to the new advancements coming from Tony and The Avengers. He remained loyal to the Avengers because it gave him the chance to be a hero, not only in Wakanda but in America too. But Zarda? Oh no. She is not anywhere welcome to T’Challa’s place or her Squadron Supreme. They have no right to come to Wakanda because he didn’t want it to effect his hometown. Even if she tried coming to Wakanda and taking it over, then all hell would break loose. She or anyone else would not survive against any Wakandians with the type of supplies and equipment. Wakanda belonged to T’Challa, not Zarda or anyone else.

They finally arrived as T’Challa landed the jet in a decent place where the fighting was going on. He and the warriors of Wakanda got out of the jet and looked around. He noticed his Avengers fighting but also Iron Man knocked down thanks to Donna Troy for some reason. He saw her go to the Power Princess and T’Challa frowned in disgust. She betrayed The Avengers and have now joined Zarda but that did not matter to The King, he would still fight alongside his allies. Looking at the rest he gave them there orders before leaving to fight the remaining clones. He went to Tony Stark and asked him if he was alright, and of course he was as the two looked up to Zarda and Donna. “What do we do now?” T’ Challa asked Iron Man. “We keep fighting” Tony told him as Iron Man and T’ Challa worked together against some clones around them. Tony in the meanwhile told The Avengers via communications ear set to keep fighting.

Okay I'm putting a limit on how many characters are going to be in this thread otherwise we'll never get done with it. I'm limiting it to two everyone else will be in the background. So pick two and stick with them or you will be removed from the thread. And do not try and stick everyone you play in with those two characters that doesn't work either.

Diana pretty much threw herself into battle taking down clones left and right and she was enjoying ever second of it could you blame her? She just spent the last nine months doing nothing because she was pregnant and now she had left Bruce to baby sit the twins while helped deal with the last of the clones from what she’s heard. She was almost sad that this was it but more happy then sad at lest she knew her children wont grow up with these things running around killing everyone or them for that matter. They could actually grow up with out that fear being held over their heads. When this was all over with she plans on taking the twins to visit with her mother she just hoped her mother didn’t reject Thomas because he was a boy she hoped her mother would love him just as much as she would Alexis. But it was hard telling what her mother would think or do most of the time.

Taking down a clone she managed to catch sight of her sister Donna attacking Tony Stark from behind before flying off towards where Zarda was. She narrowed her eyes wondering what her sister was up to why would she attack Stark before going to Zarda? It didn’t make any sense but she did know she needed to talk to Donna when this was all over with but for now she rammed feet first into another clone smashing it in the face with her feet.
