The search for Rachel, her daughter, her not been paused. Now that metro was a little more cleared out, she decided to scout around. She'd spent the day searching and would try again the next day. She currently lays beside a mess of stuff in the bed of her truck on some foam padding, naked covering in a thick swath of sheets and blankets that is comfy looking. Both arms stretch out over her head in a relaxed pose. Her left hand holds a glistening purple toy, her eye lids shut, she breaths in excited short bursts but looks completely relaxed. Her sexy frame is lightly outlined against the sheets and blanket that cover her, but its mostly lost in them.

Her truck is parked at the edge of the park and the sun just went down about an hour ago.

The sign said Metropolis but it looked just like all the other cities she had pasted through in the last few weeks. Nothing really different then the last one. She jumped from one ruined building to another she rather travel this way then on the ground made it easier to avoid the monsters that had been wandering about every now and then. Walking to the edge she looked over spotting a place she had been looking all day for with out giving it a second thought she dropped off the building a few seconds pasted before she landed in to back of the truck. Standing up she jumped out of the back heading for the building in front of her.

Stopping in front of the building she noticed the door was blocked grabbing a hold of the ruble she began to move it until it was all cleared away allowing her to open the door. Even though she wasn't human anymore she still had to eat every other week or so her sleeping habits were also different as she didn't really need to sleep it was more of a choice then a need. Her reason for being in this building it was a small store and she figured there would be a few can's of food that she could take.

Julia had just been ready to doze off, the toy was forgotten, gently let go of to fall into the shadows behind her pillow. then SLAM. Her whole world is jostled, stuff falls onto her, she shakes and jerks. There hadn't been any danger, so her spidersense hadn't gone off, and she hates when that happens.

"Oh my god!"

She shouts, but by then the female has already leaped away. It takes her a second, but she realizes that thing was...lara! ... her heart races a thousand beats a second.

"Lara? LARA!?"

She quickly scrambles into her panties and a tee shirt she has laying near by and leaps out of the truck after her, swinging from a web line she lands at the dark shadowy entrance of the store and carefully prowls in, leaping to the cealing, she crawls along it through the shadows searching.

"Lara?"

She whispers in a hushed tone.

Lara stopped what she was doing someone was calling her name it wasn’t Natla but who was it? She looked up at the ceiling her twin sliver pupil's glowed brightly in the darkness giving her an eerie look she stared at the woman for a long time before going back to searching through the things on the shelves. Was she someone from Lara’s past? Yes. Did Lara remember her at all? No. Not one memory was left of her or anyone else Lara had once knew. Where they all gone or just buried under the trauma of nearly dying and being turned into a thrall that remand to be seen.

She picked up a few cans placing them into a bag she had found a few weeks ago before moving away from the strange woman to another part of the store looking for other things to take. As she looked some part of her did wonder how the nearly naked woman knew her name. Maybe she worked for Natla and was sent to bring her back to the temple she had been born in. But if that was the case wouldn't she be yelling at her to go back and not hiding on the calling?

She remains hidden in the shadows across the ceiling, but it's obvious lara is looking at her. She can tell from the ambient moonlight that streams in. She crawls across the ceiling, watching. She can tell the woman is different and obviously doesn't know her.

"Lara...it's me...Julia....I, what happened to you?"

She drops from the ceiling without a sound and looks into her friends eyes as best she can.

"Did you forget your old girlfriend?"

She asked, sounding...legitimately hurt.

Lara stopped again this time turning to face the other woman now she knew the woman didn’t work for Natla. She titled her head to the side almost wondering what she was talking about. She looked away frowning slightly as she thought about what the woman had said she looked at the woman again then looked away a few seconds before looking at her again. “I don’t understand what your staying. I‘ve never seen you before now.“ she finally spoke something she hadn’t done in weeks not even to the few people she had ran into during her travels they just thought she couldn’t talk and left it at that. Still she didn’t know why this woman knew her name. This was very confusing and it seemed to be getting worst the more the woman in front of her talked she acted like she should know her but she didn't.

She couldn't help but feel sad. Lara's one of the prime pillars in Julia's mind, seeing her in some kind of disaray felt disorienting. It made her sick to her stomach, nausiea slips in and she stammers some.

"Lara, we had just been reuinted a month ago, we were seperated...But we...we were together in high school. We shared our first kiss, our first time making love to another person...we...What happened to you?"

Her fingers contort as she brings them to her face, visibly upset by this loss. It's a hundred times worse than not knowing what happened. Lara was a legend in her mind, she thought Lara had died or...she didn't know what happened to her mysteriously back then, to be reunited and then this. It was overwhelming.

Now she was even more confused then before she spoke like they have known each other for a long time. She shook her head “I…I don‘t remember any of it.” But as she watched Julia react to what she had told her she kind of felt bad about it but it made her wish she could make the woman feel better but she didn’t have answers to her questions no matter what she asked her. “I wish I could remember, you seemed like a nice woman.” she looked away again unsure of what else to say "Natla never told me this would happen." she said a moment later mostly to herself then to Julia. Now it got her thinking what did Natla do to her and why she couldn't remember anything.

Julia had tears in her eyes, she really did feel awful. She isn't crying hysterically, or at all really, she's just got tears in her eyes, they trickle against her cheeks a little. She gently brings her finger tips effeminately across her eyes to wipe away the tears, she sniffles some.

"It's okay, clearly something traumatic happened to you....We met in highschool...and became close, We shared our first kiss together, held hands...Cuddled...my first time ever making love to some one else was with you, and yours was with me. We were together for about six months, then you disappeared mysteriously. Something drug you half way around the earth to start your adventures as a Tomb Raider...We didn't see each other again until about a month ago or so, when we were separated again."

She sort of wants to run up and hug Lara, just to make sure she's real, see if she feels the same, is the same woman, and not some imposter or failed clone. How awful would that be? To get so upset over something like this...

All the while Lara’s mind was working over time trying to remember something anything from her forgotten past. Something was happening within her mind flashes to fast for her to know what they were expect for one she waited until Julia stopped talking before she spoke “You always tasted like strawberries.” it wasn’t much of a memory but it was better then nothing right? She had to start some where even if it was kind of strange well maybe not to Julia. Hopefully she’ll remember more then just that given enough time. And if nothing else happens to her to make her forget again.

She was also trying to remember the things Julia had told her but she was still drawing a blank on it. She didn’t like not remembering any of this. It bothered her a lot. “I woke up in a temple a woman told me to leave until she needed me. Ordered me to and I had to obey.” she suddenly said it was all she could remember about what happened to her everything else was harder to remember then her past.

She swallows hard as she listens, nodding gently. she does favor strawberries quite a lot. Strawberries are a luxury she hasn't had in awhile. She sniffles some more and her lips curl downward into a frown. It was the sweetest thing to remember, such a simple memory, how could it inspire such incredible emotions. She bites her lip and takes a hesitant step towards Lara, then she holds her hands forward a little. The moment of hesitation passes quickly and she suddenly throws her arms around Lara's neck.

"Oh Lara! Baby! I'm so sorry."

She cries, unable to really fathom how it must feel to have her memories sucked away. She's got no idea what lara's gone through, what she's endured. Is she even human any more? She knows what it's like to endure pain and transformation though. She had to suffer through a similar experience to get her powers.

"Just don't ever leave me again okay? We'll find a way to get your memories back and make you better."

She promises as she leans away and runs her fingers caressingly through Lara's hair, she trails them across Lara's cheek down her chin and stares with pensive romanticism into Lara's eyes.

She’s frowning again did she say something wrong? She really didn’t want to make Julia feel worst then what she already was. Now what was she going to do? She couldn’t remember anything else. Great she was starting to feel really bad for not being able to remember anything better then that. She looked away trying to think of something else to say or do that’s when she caught sight of something out of the corner of her eye. She was about to defend herself when threw her arms around Lara’s neck. It was kind of awkward at first for her but she just held her and let her cry. Guess remembering that was a good thing after all.

“I wont leave you again.” while Julia played with her hair she did have a thought it made her wonder about something she didn’t understand “How did you know I was here?” she looked at the red head it did seem like she just randomly showed up seems kind of strange if you thought about it. She hadn’t at all noticed that Julia had been in the truck she had landed in before she came into the store.

The answer to Lara's question exists in two fold. She delicately slides her fingers across Lara's brows, pushing her hair this way and that, playing with it affectionately, as she stares into the other woman's gorgeous eye.s

"I have a power that allows me to see into the future, but the visions are usually confusing and jumbled...Something told me to come here, so I did...Hints, clues...nothing major, nothing I could pick right up on...Just an urge, a gut feeling...And..I was in my truck, trying to fall asleep, when you literally jumped right into my life again...So I guess my precog picked up that you needed me, or...what ever."

She laughs in a silly sort of way, yes she's very emotional right now. She's crying, but she's also smiling. With feminine gestures, she gently wipes away tears form her cheeks, as if she's avoiding messing up her make up, but she isn't wearing any right now.

Lara didn’t seem bothered by Julia playing with her hair it made her feel normal almost like nothing had happed to her. She looked at Julia so it was her truck she had landed in guess it wasn’t as empty as she had thought. “Sorry for dropping in on you like that didn’t mean to scare you half to death.” guessing that’s what happened. “Or maybe your powers just wanted to find me again keep me from wandering around with out knowing who I really am.”

“Why don’t I take you back to your truck so you can get some sleep?" she suggested it was late and it seemed Julia’s emotions were running high. “I’ll stay in there with you if you want?” she offered even though she herself didn’t need to sleep right now maybe in a few day’s.

Julia was wide awake, she felt tired, but only because her body had become aclimized to sleeping at night and being awake in the day. She was about to argue when a stark yawn forced her mouth open wide, her perky lips stretch taunt, and reveal her pearly white teeth.

"Oh wow, maybe I am sleepy...I'd like that, though."

She whispered, then went out on a limb and leaned in to steal a soft little brief kiss from Lara. It's not taking advantage is it? before Lara's memories were stolen, she wasn't interested. Maybe it was wrong, maybe it wasn't. Julia's not sure. She has trouble telling these things sometimes.

She pulls away from Lara after that, assuming that she'll follow, she heads back to her truck. Her hips sway a little with her sexy stride.
