(Closed) Supergirl || Feelings Ignite

Nightwing completed his stakeout of Gotham city. How did it go? Well he did have to go through some people, criminals who started threatening innocents, which was no problem. Then he encountered a doomsday clone, and it became a tough fight for Dick but he prevailed even though there are some cuts and bruises on him. But it was no big deal, it didn’t hurt that bad. Like Bruce, Dick lives through the pain to fight another day. As he got in his car and drove out of Gotham, instead of heading back home to the Wayne Manor where he lived, he decided to go somewhere else where he can reflect on his thoughts so far since coming back to Gotham. He knew the right place and Dick continue driving to the location out of Gotham until he saw it.

He stopped at the top of a hill and turned off the car. Dick got out and looked up, a beautiful night full of stars in the darkness. He smiled a bit before Nightwing sat the edge of the car, looking out at Gotham and everything about it. Still it needed work to rebuild but with the threat of the clones going down each time, it can be made better. Dick felt that since coming back to his roots and where it all started for him, it just didn’t feel complete. There was someone that Dick thinks about from time to time, one person, a certain woman he cared about so much. Suddenly his hearing and senses started picking up and Dick looking up at the sky, seeing a someone flying. The attire she wears is similar to Superman but it wasn’t The Man of Steel, it was Supergirl. “Hey!” he called out to her.

Supergirl happened to be flying over Gotham tonight, hoping to find her former mentor Batman, or even anyone to give her a little bit of company. She couldn't help but feel extra alone after the loss of her cousin Superman and best friend Power Girl. Maybe, if she were lucky, she might even meet him..

Supergirl came to a stop in mid-air, pausing to reflect on the short lived memories of meeting him. There was just something about him that made her feel warm inside despite the world's harsh coldness. Maybe it was just a simple common crush, but tonight she would have loved to run into him again. Even if it were just for a few seconds, as it always seemed to be.

Then she noticed the car far below on the Gotham streets. At first she thought it was Batman racing through the night, but upon closer look thanks to her super vision she could see it was.. his car! She watched the headlights fading quickly into the night, every part of her almost tempted to follow him. Still she only watched from in the night sky. Then she noticed the car suddenly changing its course, parking on the top of a hill nicely secluded from Gotham. In fact she came to think she's never seen this place before at all.

Unable to control herself Supergirl made her way towards the male sat alone on the hill beside the car. She felt herself blushing, almost feeling embarrassed of herself, so close to changing her decision and flying away before she heard him call. Blushing a little more deeply now Supergirl tried to keep her cool, staying up in the midnight air. "Hey there..", she tried to say more but immediately she felt herself unable to say anything.

Dick looked up at Supergirl who stayed up in the midnight air and smiled. There was something that Dick liked about Kara. It wasn’t just her good looks and how she dressed but Kara always bringing a smile to his face. Nightwing could remember the first time they kissed in front of the Teen Titans. That was unexpected and a surprise to Dick. He didn’t know that Kara had feelings for him like that. He believed in love and to share with the woman he’s in love with. Did he have feelings for Supergirl? Absolutely and now would be the time to tell her that.

“Hey Kara!” he called out to her again. “Come on down!” he told her with a smile on his face. Dick wanted to do all kinds of things with Kara. He wanted to hang out with her and have some alone time. They talked to each other even during the clone invasion, keeping close contact with her. He missed Kara and was concerned about her every time. He couldn’t get his mind off of Supergirl and it didn’t bug Dick, it made Nightwing feel positive and keep himself going really madly insane. “I wont bite” he said to Supergirl and chuckled, wondering what took her so long…it was so funny.

Kara always felt a bit awkward every time she was around Nightwing after that first kiss, always wondering if she did the right thing then. As time went on she couldn't stop thinking about him daily, sometimes unable to rest. Sometimes on the verge of just flying to Gotham and finding him. Now that they're finally able to meet alone on a night like this.. she felt she had to make a move.

Letting out a small giggle Kara landed beside him, looking up into his eyes with a smile and a deep blush. It was a happiness that she hadn't felt for a long time now. She almost felt the urge to kiss him again, a strong desire burning in her chest. "I don't think your teeth could do anything to me anyway" Kara laughed again, feeling a bit nervous, wondering whether she should make the first move again or not.

“Oh really? Wanna bet?” he asked Kara. Dick got up from the front of his Nightwing car and walked up to Supergirl slowly, before wrapping his arms around Kara. He brought her close giving the superhero a hug, nothing big but soft and warm. Feeling Kara against him was good and always inviting. He didn’t mind talking to Kara or just hanging out with her. It was like they were two peas in pot, they had similar things in this lifestyle. They were both superhero’s and always loved to get out there and make people safe. Dick wondered how long Kara always had feelings for Nightwing.

Then suddenly he looked at Kara in the eyes. In his very own orbs, there is love, one that no one can describe. Slowly Dick kissed Supergirl on the lips softly, closing his eyes, just in the moment. Feeling her lips on his and vice versa, Dick wanted more than to kiss her but to show her how much she means to him. He started kissing from the lips to her cheek, both left and right softly before releasing a sigh and looking at Kara. “I missed you” he whispered to her, caressing Kara’s cheeks with both of his hands. “And that’s how I feel about you Kara” he confessed to the blonde.

Supergirl's eyes opened wide for a moment, caught by surprise as Nightwing's lips found hers before closing them and returning the kiss passionately. She couldn't stop a faint moan from escaping her, caught up in the moment feeling so close to Nightwing. Her heart burning in her chest Kara wrapped her own arms around him and squeezed him tight.

Kara felt detached the very second Nightwing pulled away from the kiss only to feel alive again once his lips pressed on her cheeks. "I missed you too, I'm glad you're still safe" That same feeling burning inside her she couldn't help it.. "I feel the same about you too."

Dick felt more attached to Kara than ever, there was only one thing they could do to really seal the deal as Nightwing smiled. “How about we both show each other how love and feelings are in the air?” he asked Kara with that husky tone, whispering in her ear. He kissed Kara again but this time passionately, feeling his mouth burning on her lips. . They have feelings now they get to express it with satisfaction and pleasure like none other. Dick broke the kiss between him and Kara as he walked toward his car. Opening the door to his car, he looked back at Kara, walking up to her. “It’s alright Kara, you’ll be safe with me and I’ll take good care of you” he said, taking her hand and the two went inside the back of his car before he closed the door.
Turning to Kara, he kissed her passionately and laid her down gently on the seats.

Hours later….

It’s still night as Nightwing holds Kara close to him and in his arms. They made love for the very first time, so sweet, so beautiful, perfect but passionate as well. It just felt so amazing and good to get it all out in open because Dick wanted her so bad and he could tell the same thing from Kara. There was no regret on his part for what he did because there was more than meets the eyes. Kara was such a beautiful woman, so strong, brave and just drop dead gorgeous. Dick wouldn’t use her though like she was nothing. Nighwing wanted t do a lot more. He looked at Supergirl and kissed her forehead, smiling at her. “You know I probably never said this but…I love you Kara” he told her, declaring his love for Supergirl. “So how do you feel?” he asked Kara.

Kara was lying against Nightwing, wrapped securely by his arms as they both stared into the star filled sky above them. It felt like a great deal of stress had been lifted off of her, like a night with Nightwing helped drain her of all her problems. She smiled when she felt his lips press against her forehead, her eyes finding his, sparkling like the stars in the night sky behind him. "I love you too", she felt the words coming out of her lips before she think of them. Part of her wondered if what she did was right, though most of her didn't care. It was something she really needed through the past few weeks. "Right now like the luckiest girl in the world", she smiled, still staring up at him, "and you?"

“The luckiest man in the world Kara, that’s how I feel” he told her. Dick caressed her hair and stroked it softly as he continue to look at her pretty face. The stars were still out so it was still night, and with them basking in the afterglow of there lovemaking, love and bliss were in the air. Before he answered her, Dick heard the words, I love you from Kara and it made it official between them. Dick sighed before saying anything else to Supergirl. “You know Kara, I feel like something has been lifted off of both our shoulders, like the monkey on the back or something” he confessed to Kara. “I want to let you know that I don’t regret what I did…making love to you…it was the right thing” he told her.

“I…I want to spend the rest of my life with you Kara. I want to be with you, fight alongside with you in the battles coming up a head. You don’t have to do anything alone anymore…why because you have me” he said to Kara and meant every word of it. Dick has had his love life which went up and down but what he feels right now with Kara is a release, him forgetting about woman like Barbara, Catwoman, etc. They were just his past and Dick now has a bright future with Kara. “So…do you have any place to stay?” he asked her, unsure if Clark’s parents were gone too in the doomsday clone attack. If they were Dick knew a good place for her to stay in. “If not…you can come to the Wayne Manor and stay with me. I’m sure Bruce wouldn’t mind” he told her and waited for Kara to say something.

Kara laughed softly, looking back up into the stars as she still lay on Nightwing. She felt safe so close to him, like nothing bad would ever happen again in the world. "I feel the same way, I don't regret it at all", she spoke quietly. Deep inside she didn't know how Batman would react to it, she only hoped Nightwing -- Dick was right. She looked back up into his face, studying it under the moonlight. Just like the first day she met him she felt drawn to him.

"I don't really have a place to call home anymore. Kal.. Superman is dead. I think my 'parents' are probably dead too", as Kara spoke the pain hit slowly her, but pushing closer against Dick she felt she could go on. "I'm glad you're still safe, I would've hated to have lost you too. If I can I think that would be a great idea, then I could really make sure you're safe."

“You’ll always be safe…always with me” he said before kissing her forehead. Dick lost way too many people in his life. His parents were the first shot that fired thanks to Zucko of all people. If they weren’t killed and still here today by some miracle (since the clone invasion is almost over) they would be proud of Dick for who he is, despite how his mom would feel. A mother is always protective of there kin Though Dick’s mom would love Kara and know she would never hurt him. Kara’s a sweet girl but feisty and always craving for some action and adventure and so did Nightwing. He would never get in Supergirl’s way, because Dick knows that Kara is pure kryptonian and can crush him anytime. As far as Dick’s concern, she can do whatever she pleases to Nightwing…just not hurting him.

“And I am glad that you’re safe too Kara. To be honest, I don’t even know what I would do without you” Nightwing said to her and meant it. He lost a lot of good friends, even Superman, who was like a brother and even a father figure as well, no offense to Bruce Wayne. He can only imagine what Kate, Kara and Conner went through when they heard that news, hell, the entire Kent family. Dick has never been in a successful relationship but with Kara, things feel just right and nothing could go wrong. “But like I said before…I’m sure Bruce would not have a problem with you staying. It’s just that there are others staying at the mansion due to the doomsday clones, so we have to help out” he told her before kissing her softly on the lips. “Everything will turn out for the best, I promise” he said to Kara and smiled.
