In the workshop of Tony Stark, he was putting the last finishing touches on his suit armor before he and the other avengers heard out tomorrow to do some clone hunting. The rest of it was kept back in a secret place that no one knew about. He didn’t want someone snooping in there and using it. That would be like stealing and never getting it back. Tony could remember Obidiah Stane always wanting the suit for his greedy ambitions and even giving it to the government. Just imagine what the bad guys can do with it, taking it and using it for there own advantage….but that has never happened.

Tony put the cover over the suit and took a seat, removing the gloves from his hands and even the mask. His door was opened and didn’t mind any visitors whether it was his Avengers or someone else like a family relative from his allies. Suddenly someone walked in and it was unexpected, it was the Asguardian prince, Thor. “Long time no see” he said, surprised. Tony respected Thor and liked him for many reasons but always knew he could count on him if there was any trouble. “This is a surprise. I didn’t know you were coming” he told him. “What are you doing here?”

Thor was not in the best of moods, the Asgardian giant had not been impressed on what had been occurring in midgard yet he had his own problems to deal with notably the deteriorating health of his father and the fact that he was going to war with his brother yet again; the insanity that Loki had spoken had bothered him yet the fact that his brother was beyond saving now had saddened him he didn’t wish to create the death knell blow on his own brother he was not going to do that he knew many of the Asgardians would not appreciate that but as Loki was his problem it would be he who would decide what to do with his younger brother.

When he had heard the actions of Iron man he felt that he had to intervene he knew that the relations between Zarda and the other avengers had not been good but just as you had a different opinion that didn’t mean that you had to fight about it and the fact that they had enough enemies right now meant that the Asgardian had been pulled into the battle and he didn’t like having to intervene in discussions and battles between others. Yet when Kate had been bothered by the near death experience that she had when she had been on a mission Tony had sent her on. Finding him easily he stepped into the threshold and he was surprised when the other man acted as if everything was ok.

”My brother has been causing trouble in other realms and my father’s health have been reasons I have not been around more it was only because of Hawkeye that I have been able to find this place.” he said the fact that he had not been in the loop was obvious but he was not going to dwell on that. ”Both Zarda and Hawkeye are concerned about you Tony, the way that you have been acting is out of character of you the war can do that it is understandable I know that better than most; this is more of a visit to let you know others are watching myself included I am still dealing with Loki which means midgard visits are not something I can do frequently if there is a necessity to; you failing to have the full support of a team I helped found being one of them.”

The Invincible Iron Man listened to the asguaridian speak, mentioning that there were problems going on in Asguard because of his brother Loki including his father’s health. It didn’t surprise Tony that Loki was still causing mayhem. He never liked Loki for many reasons and didn’t care about him that much. The only thing Loki cares about is control and power, which he craves for. Tony never even would trust Thor’s adopted brother because Loki can always stab people in the back and betray them. Loki always thinks he can get the best of others but not really

Then as Thor continued something puzzled Iron Man. Because of Kate? Why didn’t she let Tony know about it or others? Then hearing that Zarda and Kate were concerned about his out of character actions. What out of character actions? Tony Stark is fine now and NOTHING was ever wrong with him. Was Kate still complaining about the mission she was assigned and then sent Bruce for backup? And Zarda, why was she concerned about Tony. She’s not an avenger anymore, she’s off doing her own thing for world domination which would never work out.

Once Thor was done, Tony nodded his head and cleared his throat. “First, thank you for coming here to the base…though I understand where you are coming from Thor. You have Asguard to rule and look over because the people need you including your father and others. I can respect where you’re coming from on that and why you can’t visit often” , he told him. “Now, here in this base is myself, Rhodey, Bruce, Kate, Jan, Carol and others. Has it been hard on us? Yes, everyday is hard……but I’m not giving up on the team and I am not giving up on earth” , he said. “But let me ask you….what did Kate and Zarda tell you about me?”, he asked the asguardian honestly, not that he would get upset. “I just want to know Thor so I just clear the record straight with you” he said as Tony waited.
