Jessica spent her time chopping and cooking everything that was needed for the omelets it was a lot of work but she didn’t mind in fact she kind of missed doing stuff like this. Missed doing a lot of normal stuff now that you really can’t do that anymore unless you where lucky enough to find a safe place to be. It was also a good thing she had picked up some things that weren’t food knife sharper for starters whoever use to own this boat wore the knives down till they couldn’t cut much of anything that maybe had help with time. Either way she had to sharpen and clean a lot of the stuff which she did while everything was cooking.
Everything was done all she had to do was plate everything up she got the omelets on the plates looking all pretty. She picked up the pan with the home fries in and went to work splitting them up between the two plates she just got the pan back on the stove when she was attack from behind. “HEY!” she squirmed before turning around to face Dinah “Sure we can do that and that sounds kind of stalker-ish you know.” she shrugged “It’s not like we have any important things to do so why not just get it over with?” She turned picking up a plate and handing it to Dinah. “Any ideas on where you want to go or do on our honeymoon?” she asked before making her way outside to the table it was to nice to stay inside.

"Desperate time call for desperate measures, unless you think someone is just going to pop out of the woodwork for us. We can get the ceremony performed quick and easy and if he causes trouble, we'll bring him on board when it's all over and then toss his sorry ass over the rail on the high seas." Dinah suggested with a straight face and then laughed. "Relax, i'm kidding. Mostly."
While Jessica was setting up a table, Dinah grabbed a couple of glasses, washed them thoroughly and then did it again and a third time to make sure they were both sanitary before pulling O,J, out of the fridge and filling them up. Whatever island we are heading to we can honeymoon there if it meets both our expectations. If we get lucky we'll find someone there who can marry us and then it's all settled and we can spend the rest of our lives in each others arms as wife and wife. Plenty of crops to grow, hammocks to sleep on, coconuts to ea and water to swim in. Who can ask for anything more. You still haven't told me what you would like though. This is not all about me. Your happiness is more important than mine."

“No I don’t think someone will but you never know now day’s anything can happen.” Jessica looked over at Dinah and was about to say something but realized she was joking before she said she was. “And you say I’m bad.” she shook her head before sitting down at the table after getting everything set up. Instead of starting to eat right away she turned in her seat catching Dinah washing a couple a glasses a lot. “You sure you don’t want to wash those a few more times?” she joked.
“My happiness will come when the world returns to normal and go back to living in houses and keep the boat. But until then it seems kind of pointless to be picky over anything. Besides I never gave it much of a thought about getting married. Never thought it would happen I guess.” She was the other woman a lot of the time the affair ends and the married person usually went back to their husband or wife she kind of thought that would happen with Dinah not that she would be happy about it happening though. The last thing she expected to happen was them getting married.

"Of course you're bad. You have been a naughty influence on me, Jessica." Dinah shook her head and snagged a clean towel to dry the glasses clean. "these glasses came with the shop, not with the stuff we swiped yesterday. Sorry if my paranoia disturbs you but I am not taking any chances on either of us getting sick. Who knows where those things have been or what's been done to them."
There was little else Dinah could do but frown at Jessica's last comment. Dinah herself had been so excited over the prospect of everything they were planning and yet Jessica had the nerve to say she had an attitude yesterday. It was depressing and it was starting to take some of the wind out of her sails, figuratively speaking.
"You didn't have enough faith in me or my love that I would make a serious commitment to you, Jessica? There were so many other things in both of our lives that kept making things difficult but once you and I fell in love I knew i would end up making you my wife. Nothing is ever going to come between us again and nothing is stronger than my love for you. I thought you had more faith in me than that." She murmured, eyes staring down at her plate as she began to eat, a frown reflecting her now slight state of depression on her lips. "Excellent job cooking..."

“Pfft, you weren’t an angel before I met you. In other words your just as bad as I am missy.” She said not at all believing Dinah was innocent before the two of them had met and got to know each other. “It doesn’t you just missed the part where I was joking.” Dinah kind of made it sound like the people who owned this ship did some weird things with their glasses and other stuff. “I think your just over thinking it but wash them as much as you want if it makes you feel better.”
“I do have faith now but back then before you split up with Ollie there was always that voice in the back of my head that kept telling me you would go back to Ollie and leave me. I’ve had horrible luck with my life ever since I was little my parents disappeared leaving me alone then I was chased out of my home for being different they thought I was a witch. Trusting things will go well for me after everything that I’ve gone though is hard okay?” She wasn’t hungry anymore and got up walking to the other end of the ship.

This wasn't exactly how Dinah pictured the first day of the rest of their lives atarting out, even if their marriage hadn't officailly begun. However the ring she had on her finger and the one she put on Jessica's meant there wa no way she was just letting her walk away like that.
"We've both gone through alot of bad scenes in our life, Jessica and neither of our lives can be compared." Dinah spoke up after following, catching up and started running her fingers through the other woman's hair. "Marrying that man when everyone and anyone tried to talk me out of it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I wanted so hard to believe that he'd changed and that I could finally be happy at the time but it turned out just like everyone said it would. I had a lifelong series of arguments with my mother until the day she died and my life hasn't exactly been a bed of roses either. I almost married a man once who tried to kill me for crying out loud. Every relationship I have been in has turned to cra[p on toast...until I met you."
Dinah's voice got quieter as she actually flicked a tear away from her eyes then wondered how it got there before turning to set a stereo on to soft music in the background, the kind made for slow dancing and held her arms wide open to receive Jessica, hoping she'd accept the embrace. I once swore I would never ever get married again. I didn't want to set up myself for another repeat of disaster. I thought long and hard before proposing to you, it wasn't something I rushed into. I can't stay away from you though, Jessica Drew. You have my heart and I will never ever leave you. I've been here for you since we met with the exception of the clones driving us apart and I will always be there for you. I love you more than my own life, darling. I would love to hear you say those three words to me as well." She suggested before moving in for a deep kiss.

That was an understatement Jessica barely knew what normal was her life was rollercoaster an insane one at that. She could barely make any sense of it even after being shown the truth years ago didn’t really help a whole lot. Maybe she should be like Dinah and forget about it and start over again? Would that make things easier for her in the long run? She didn’t know. She didn’t have to turn around to know Dinah was there she wasn’t just going to leave her alone after that.
Even though she was there Jessica didn’t turn around at first just let her talk. Eventually she did turn around to face Dinah when she heard the music playing after a few moments she moved over to Dinah and joined her and hearing all that did make her feel a lot better about things. “I love you and I always will no matter what happens or where we end up.” she really did hope her luck would change with Dinah and nothing happens again she needed something to go her way for once in her life. She kissed Dinah back.

Dinah gave a small smile to show her contentment after the two soon to be newlyweds broke their kiss. She loved the feel of having Jessica Drew in her arms, knowing that from here on out it was just the two of them against the world. They only matter that remained to be settled was if she could convince Jessica to join her on Paradise island when the time comes. That could wait.
After the song and the dance both had ended Dinah put her arm around Jessica's shoulders and without a word started moving back toward the dining table Jess had prepared, hoping to coax Jessica into eating before the food got cold. It wasn't until after Dinah sat that she started to speak again. "As soon as we finish eating let's head for the controls of this love boat, see how far we are away from the island and if we still have time to kill before docking then you can decide what we do in the meantime, I'm all yours. If we're almost there then we'll put something on besides bikinis and prepare to find someone that can marry us. Maybe after we can find someplace to pitch a tent and a hammock and start a garden. What do you have in mind for us today?"

The song ended to soon for her liking now she was being guided back to the table to their unfinished breakfast. Sitting down she picked at it a bit before she started to eat mostly doing it for Dinah cause she doesn’t want to get yelled at. She really didn’t want to fight again for a while if at all. She was just tired of it all.
“And if we can’t find anyone to marry us? Are we going to keep looking? It’s not like we really have to we’re together and have the rings. It’s just a peace of paper that’s probably not even made anymore cause of the clones.” She was fine being married with out the papers people do it all the time or they did do it all the time. “Besides we’re going to be living on an island that’ll probably be just the two of us who’s going to steal you away? A pelican?” Okay there was a part of her that would have liked to have a wedding but really something like that was pretty much out of the question now. “I know, I know you want to have someone marry us and I do to but you got to realize finding someone that could marry us is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.”
She finished off her O.J. and thinking about the rest of what Dinah said and gave her a sly smile. "Oh I could think of a few things we can do to pass the time." Could you blame her for having a gutter mind? It's been how long since the two of them last been together.

"There are plenty more tunes that came along with the entertainment system on the boat. We can dance more later...among other things." A playful smirk was back on Dinah's lips now as she took her mate by the hand and led her back to the dining table. go to waste. Jessica was a great cook, Dinah wasn't and the latter was really hungry at the moment.
"No, no you're right. If we can't find anyone on this island to do the deed, and it's unlikely that we would then we stop searching and just accept things as they are. If the island we are heading for is decent we can just settle down there and plant our garden, find a way to make some sort of home. Between that and our new boat I am sure things we'll be peachy."
As soon as she sat down, an eyebrow shot up on Dinah's face. She folded her napkin across her lap in astonishment over the comment that she had her hopes set on a ceremony. Me? Jessica I was only wanting to search for one for your benefit. I have had ceremonies before but you haven't. I would have gone to the ends of the Earth to make it happen if that's what you wanted. Now that I know you're okay with not needing a paper to seal our marriage..."[/yellow]
She whispered, setting her fork down and reaching across the table to take her fiance by the hand. "I Dinah Laurel Lance, take thee Jessica as my lawfully wedded wife, to love and to cherish, to have and to hold, to honor and obey from this day forward, as long as we both shall live." She spoke up then waited for Jessica to follow suit. Not having to comb the island to see if there was anyone else on it meant more time for play and exploring the land to see if it was safe and could sustain crops.

“I was starting to wonder who you are what you did with the real Dinah. Never seeming to want to do anything fun.” She said with mock shock, yes she was talking about the adult kind of fun. As she finished eating while Dinah talked more about what they were going to do if they couldn’t find someone to marry them. “It all sounds good to me to do things that way. If things end up going back to normal we can have a real wedding and invite our friends those that are left that is.” And party down what better thing to do right after the world returns to normal or close to it plus it’d probably put everyone in a lot better mood.
"I Jessica Miriam Drew, take thee Dinah as my lawfully wedded wife, to love and to cherish, to have and to hold, to honor and obey from this day forward, as long as we both shall live." She stood up as she pulled Dinah into a kiss to seal the deal. Married over breakfast bet that’s a first. Breaking the kiss she had another idea for Ollie “Still wished Ollie could have been here to see this then we could have tossed him overboard off the boat” And yeah it’s Dinah’s fault she came up with it since she talked about throwing the person who was going to marry them overboard as well.

"Believe me, Mrs. Lance. You aren't the only one that wondered where the real Dinah disappeared to. Honestly I haven't seen so much as a speck of her in the mirror for years. God help me though, I am trying to bring her back. I may need help. Seriously this looks like it could be an under cover case. Or perhaps under covers would be better." Dinah smirked and rolled her neck a big, flipping her hair back and licking her lips for her wife to see.
Jessica didn't waste any time either when it came to the obeying part. As soon as they finished speaking their vows she was up out of her seat pulling Dinah close for another deep kiss. As soon as she did One of Dinah's arms wrapped around Jess's neck while the other hand gave a rub to a place alot softer and alot further down if one catches the drift.
"Only if he is strapped to the bumper of a car first would I toss him overboard. But a car has two bumpers. Ollie can go on the back bumper and I know a certain redhead I think would fit nicely on the front fender." She smirked with an evil laugh before finishing off the last bite of her meal
Breakfast was great my beautful newlywed. Shall we go skinny dipping?"

“I’m sure the real Dinah will come out of hiding sooner or later with the right help of course.” Jessica Lance? Doesn’t sound to bad if she did say so herself. One good thing about the end of the world was they didn’t have to worry about the stupid people protesting their wedding or anything just because they hated same sex marriage. Getting mad over that was like getting mad at someone for eating a doughnut in front of you because you were on a diet.
“Probably a lot sooner then later if you keep touching me like that. I’ll have to throw you over my shoulder and take you into the bedroom and you’ll be screaming again before you know it.” she put her arms around Dinah ready to do just as she said any second given the chance.
“You are one evil woman you know that?” Jessica shook her head almost like she couldn’t believe Dinah would do all that to Ollie and Babs. “Sure as long as there aren’t any sharks around don’t wanna get bit or anything. Kind of attached to all my body parts.”

Dinah listened to everything her wife had just said, especially the threat she promised to carry out but Dinah planned to address that last. Her eyes fell on the dishes and mess that needed to be cleaned before it drew flies but it could wait a bit. Some things in life were more important.
"The real Dinah, the one with the dirty mind you keep referring to. I can feel her rising to the surface. The real Dinah is also a warrior at heart though. Just as the real Jessica Drew I've come to know and love is and without some challenge, without some war to fight then the warrior may as well be dead, Jessica."
That was why Dinah had made up her mind to join sides and pledge her allegiance with Zarda. The country as she knew it had fallen apart, the government had gone to hell in a handbasket and the only way Dinah believed for things to be righted was with the Power Princess at the helm. She only prayed Jessica would join her also. The only person that would come between Dinah and joining forces with the squadron would be Jessica. She would die before she ever laid a violent hand on Jessica Drew,
A playful grin then spread on her lips to match the gleam in Dinah's eye as she repeated the same action as before. waiting to see if Jessica would carry out her alleged threat. "You don't have the nerve but I would sure like to see you try it."

“Dead seems so final why not say she just retired for a while until something comes up or I could just grab her by the leg and drag her out of retirement.” That seemed more fun then letting the old Dinah die as she said she was. She gave the blonde a look saying did you really think I was joking? She bent down to pick up Dinah and throw her over her shoulder before carrying her into the bedroom where she put her on the bed before climbing on top of her "I told you what I would do if you kept doing that missy.” she bent down to kiss Dinah while her hands went to work removing the blondes clothes this was long over due. She broke the kiss for a moment “You wanted to scream and I’ll get you screaming now.” she smirked before pulling off Dinah’s top before going for her bottoms.
