“A little bit of the first two. Not really something I was ever expecting to happen I guess.” she pouted when she was thwapped no it didn’t hurt she was just being silly. She wanted a bigger ring? That might be harder said then done but she’ll try “I’ll see what I can do but don’t hold your breath on it.” She really wasn’t sure if she could fulfill that wish with the way things where but while they were getting things for the boat after finding one that is. She’ll try and track a ring down that’ll be good enough for Dinah.
“That could take a while to do…you know I’m not even sure if we’ll be able to find someone that can do it.” wait two homes what on earth is she talking about? One with a lot of women and a queen? “You want to join an insane woman in taking over the world?” she really wasn’t sure where she stood on it all she was to busy trying to not be killed in a horribly painful way and maybe find Dinah again. “I don’t know I mean I’ve worked with Zarda when we were both apart of the Avengers back in the day but she’s such a wild card most of the time I’m not sure.” she rolled her eyes and shook her head “Ha, ha very funny.”

"Relax Jessica. The rock doesn't have to be that big. I'll be satisfied with whatever you are able to acquire." She asked with a hand cupping the other woman's chin then pulled back and through her hands up in mock frustration. "Have we really been apart so long that you've forgotten how tell when I am messing with your mind? Oh woe is me, where have I gone wrong?"
She paced back and forth now while listening to Jessica make sense out of everything. Every the Cerebral assassin. Thinking about all the pros and cons of everything is why she gets paid the big spy bucks. Or used to anyway. She turned and with a straight face simply took her woman by the hand and urged her to lead the way again.
"Let's just go find a boat and set sail. I'm tired of thinking for now. You call the shots for a bit, decide where we're going and all that. I'm just along for the ride, Capiche? Let's shake it." She added and applied her hands to Jessica's shoulders, beginning to massage as they walked. The last several minutes had been life changing for both of them. Dinah could use a breather to reflect.

“More like it’s because of lack of sleep and everything that’s been going on lately.” Right now her brain was kind of fired to the point she really couldn’t tell when Dinah was messing with her or not. Maybe once they were on the water maybe then she could relax and if lucky enough get a full nights sleep wishful thinking again but anything could happen when your not worrying about dying every ten seconds.
Jessica stood there watching Dinah back and forth probably trying to decided on what she wanted to do. And in the end she seemed to have given up on it and forced her to take the lead once again.
“Okay, but we still need to get some things clothes, food, gas and a map so we know where we’re going.” If they can she wanted to get a boat with a sail so they wouldn’t have to use up all the gas putting around the place. Only when they really needed to. She lead them into the docks so they can find a boat first before they went off to look for the other things they needed. That way they wouldn't be carrying all that stuff around while looking for a boat.

"Finding gas might be the toughest challenge but we'll figure it out somehow. We haven't many options." The blond's brow furrowed as she stretched then tried to stifle a yawn. Again, her mate wasn't the only one battling sleep deprivation. With all that's holy Dinah was hoping and praying they could each close their eyes long enough while out at sea to recharge. She was especially to get out of the boots and tight leather and into something alot more comfortable. The costume was nice but it was starting to itch she'd been in it so long. A hot bath would be nice too. Yeah, good luck with that.
The largest gathering of boats seem to be over there. I doubt any of them have the keys in it but we can hotwire whatever needs a jumpstart easily enough then we can go try to find food and a change of clothes unless you want to travel all the way to wherever you are taking me au naturale. The view would be alot better from where I am standing at least." Dinah chuckled like a sleep deprived loon on helium and gave a wolf whistle but a quiet one. "After you, dear."

“Only if you don’t know where to look for it. I lived in Madripoor for a few years I learned a thing or two.” Madripoor made Gotham look like the Holiday Inn it was that bad. Much worst if you new there and didn’t know what you were getting yourself into you could end up either dead or enslaved in a sex, drug, crime ring. That’s if your lucky there’s a lot worst things that could happen to you there. Jessica was lucky enough not to have any of that happen to her. Instead she met Wolverine and learned a lot from him and got his help on some things while she was there.
“If your good, but I’d still like to have something to wear that I hadn’t had on for months. Just in case. With the world ending and all brought out the crazies don’t want to end up giving them a view or idea’s if we happen to run into them.” True they were more then able to handle themselves but things didn’t always go the way they were suppose to she of all people knew that all to well. She had more bad luck then Black Cat did or does if the woman is still alive that is.
She headed down the docks looking at all the boats stopping at one it was pretty nice looking and it had a sail as well as a motor. Stepping on board she disappeared inside oh yeah this thing looked like it had belonged to someone with a lot of money if you couldn’t tell from the outside. “Lot of blue marble in here as well as a lot fancy things.” Jessica said coming back out after taking a quick look around “What do you think? Want this to be our new love boat?” she asked with a smirk.

"There, you see? It's for reasons like that I asked you to lead the way for now. I can kick hiney better than anyone without super strength and I can survive on my own in a jungle or the middle of nowhere but I wouldn't have the first clue about where to look for gasoline. Madripoor can makea tough man humble and cause a person to swink or swim before they draw their next breath. My former employer and former best friend had me working all over the globe at one time or another" Dinah explained while her mind started to a drift to a time she was stuck, not in Madripoor but in a jungle. A case of the blind leading the blind when it was her and Jason Bard struggling for their lives. A blind Jason Bard who was injured because of his friendship with her.
"Fancy seats, upholstery, and carpet. A mini bar and even a small entertainment center and generator. Whew, this guy sure knew how to live." Dinah's breath was stolen for a moment after she followed Jessica to the boat, stepped in for a better look then stepped out again.
"A love boat. Hah. Whoo-whee, you ain't kiddin' darlin'. It's even still got champagne stocked in the mini-bar. All we need is some crushed ice to cool it off and we party in style after sailing away and I am sure whoever owns it will be glad to let us borrow it. That is if he is still alive to know. Yeah, this is perfect. Let's go finish our shopping spree and haul anchor.

“Makes you wonder what else this baby is hiding away for us to find.” but that could wait till their out to sea and away from danger. Part of her did want to explore more of the ship right now but the rest of her told her she had to wait and put it off. “Come on blondie let’s get this done and over with. Before you fall over.” she was dead on her feet and from the way Dinah has been acting she must be as well. She stepped off the boat waiting long enough for Dinah to join her before she made her away into the city on high alert never know what might happen.
She looked around the place and spotted a store moving over to it she looked into the window “Sheesh, this must be where all the rich people lived.” she pushed the door open it was dark inside she used her spider-bite to light up the room some. Yeah she was paid pretty well for the things she did but she wouldn’t spend it in places like this. Jessica came to a glass case full of different things it was a white gold ring with a nice size rock. She stuck it in her pocket before Dinah could see it she was going to save it for later.
Moving away from the case she made her way over to where Dinah was “Find anything useful?” she asked as she looked over the blondes shoulder to see what she was doing.

"Now don't all worrywart on me, Jessica. I'll be fine, seriously." Dinah lied right through her teeth. Of course she was on her last legs but she'd never admit to something like that with Babs or with Ollie evn before they got married then divorced. Jessica Drew knew Dinah was the first to grieve over someone else's pain but the last to worry about her own.
It was only a few seconds before they landed once more and peered through the store window. "Yeah, lots of fancy trinkets and top of the line designer duds" The Canary quipped, grabbing a few changes of clothes for herself and Jessica as well with a rough estimate in her mind of what her fiance's sizes were after visually looking her over from top to bottom.
I'd say we don't need to carry an overabundance of clothes with us. Wherever we go to stop and grab food we can grab laundry soap and wash the clothes we take out by hand. What about you, snuggums? See anything else you like? Otherwise I'm ready when you are" She asked and started walking again. "Do you like me better as a blond or should I go back to being brunette and stop dyeing my hair. Nothing personal but the blondie taunt is wearing kinda thin."

Dinah was such a bad liar did she really think she could lie to her about how tired she was? She’s been around people long enough to notice things and the yawning doesn’t help her any at all. But she let it drop for now once they had everything they needed and was off shore she’ll drag that blonde ass to bed to at lest try and get some sleep. Little was better then none at all.
“Found something but I’ll show it to you later once we’re on the boat.” she headed for the door again Dinah could handle the clothes she was going to be carrying the food which could get heavy since she had a pretty big backpack and was planning on filling it if she could. She brought an arm up around Dinah “I wasn’t saying it to be mean just pay back for all the spider cracks." Oh yeah she didn't forget about those times she poked fun at Jessica for having spider powers and showing up either sticking to the wall or ceiling for some reason. Or when she had to use said powers to sneak around when they had to keep them a secret "And it really doesn't matter to me what you do with your hair it could be hot pink and spiked for all I care."

"I know, I know. I guess I'm just grumpier than usual. It's all getting to me. Everything. It's growing me old before my time. I swear I didn't feel this old before I was dropped into a lazarus pit." The look on Jessica's face and in her eyes. She tried not to let it show, Dinah knew the signs and what to look for and she knew Jess wasn't buying Dinah's explanation that she wasn't that tired. Yeah, it's gonna be a great boat trip.
I just had to ask." She spoke up, snagging a gas can from an automotive part section before they left. "I have been thinking of going back to being the natural brunette I was born and ditching the blond look once and for all. Think of it as cutting the final tie to my pas and believe me when I tell you there is nothing about my past I still care to remember except for you, naturally. Where to next, babe."

“I think after everything we’ve been through the last few years since this happened. Everyone feels older then what they should be. Worst yet we live in a kill or be killed world now which makes us do things we never thought of doing before. And we don’t even care anymore that it’s happening.” If you had told Jessica this was all going to be happening five years ago she would have laughed then got angry that she would do or let such things happen to people. But like the world around them she had changed a lot some for the better but most not. It wasn’t her fault she just had to change to survive this new world like everyone else.
“If that’s what you want to do then by all means don’t let me stop you.” She herself wasn’t planning on changing her hair color she liked it the way that it was it brought out the green of her eyes. “Let’s see if we can find some food and Tums going to need those.” sucking gas out of cars could leave one with a bad stomach ache or worst. “Unless we get lucky and find a gas station.” She wasn’t holding her breath on that it’d have any gas left.
Jessica headed down the street to another store looked like it sold food hopefully sometimes it was hard to tell when your in a rich neighborhood like this. Stopping in front of store she grabbed a hold of some ruble that was blocking the door and pulled it out of the way. Then opened the door “Ladies first.” she said holding it open for Dinah.

"I hear you, Jessica. This is not why I became a hero, joined the Justice league, took my mother's codename and the like. I never once would have dreamed that I would be reduced to stealing just to survive but that's not the worst of it." Dinah turned her head, sharply enough for her hair to mat to her forehead and get in her eyes. A margin of shame crept on her as she tried to avoid looking at Jessica. "Remember earlier when I said I felt bad about leaving the innocent mother and her daughter behind with the two crooks that all got trampled by the clones?" She muttered, ignoring further discussion about her hair.
"It didn't. Not in the slightest bit actually. Horrible of me I know but I was so thankful to get my skin out of there intact and to have you back, I would have sacrificed them all for my own survival. See how pathetic I've gotten?" She asked before walking in and then holding the door open for the love of her life to follow suit.
"I snagged a funnel and a few tools also, it should make the job of siphoning gas that much easier., You head that way, i'll go the opposite. we'll both grab vittles and I'll meet you up front so we can fill the backpack. Try not to get lost." She laughed before heading for the cereal aisle.

“Of course it’s not but times change and so did we. We’re forced to do things we would never imagine doing just to survive. No one likes doing it but because of the clones we don’t have a choice. It’s us or them and I rather it be them I’m not looking to die anytime soon.” It was horrible that they had to do things like this but as time goes on she cared less and less about it all. As long as she was still alive and Dinah too she didn’t care as much about the well being of other people. Sadly enough she’d let a group of people die if it meant her and Dinah would live.
“Oh very funny I highly doubt I’ll get lost in here.” She walked along picking up cans they lasted a lot longer then other food. She walked past the garden area stopped and went back. Why the hell didn’t she think of this sooner? She went over going through the seeds tossing out the flowers but keeping the ones for food. She stuffed them in a pocket in her backpack then moved over to the tools and begin grabbing different tools they’ll need. Growing their own food would be a lot better then going back into the cities and hoping to find something.

Against all odds, and to Dinah Lance's gratitude, the cereal aisle also had a shopping cart sitting in it. Rusty and it looked like it had seen better days but it meant they wouldn't have to cram everything into Jessica's backpack. The boat they had chosen, the rich man's boat was one of the best thefts and luckiest too that the blond bombshell may ever stumble on to. It was more like a houseboat actually. It had everything they'd need, even refrigeration as long as the generator lasted and so Dinah grabbed cereal, meat, milk and produce while Jessica Drew was over grabbing canned belongings and whatever else.
If Dinah knew her future wife, and she did, she probably was getting it into her head by now that they could plant a garden and kill cattle for food off whatever island they landed on. Of course there are also plenty of fish in the sea and fruit on the trees. Dinah was more of the city type where her favorite foods came frozen or had to be cooked with recipe books in hand but she could adapt. It probably wouldn't be long before Jessica started b**ching to the blond about going on a diet anyway.
With her cart full after a 5 minute mad dash through the aisles, Dinah was back near the exit waiting for Spider-Woman, panting like she was out of breath but it was a necessary evil, the rush was to stay ahead of the clones.
"C'mon already."

While Dinah went about getting food Jessica went more after tools and such. That food would only last so long they needed things to gain more. Everyone who watched zombie movies knew this once you found a safe place to live you needed to find a way to get more food, water and such. She had some tools for the garden. A fishing pole, a knife for gutting and cleaning fish or whatever animal they can catch. She also found the needed things to make snares another thing Wolverine had taught her. She had learned a lot from that old man and it’s all going to come in handy.
Jessica fit what she could into her backpack and carried the rest while she wandered around the place until she got yelled at by Dinah to get moving. She made her way over to where Dinah was at and looked into the cart yeah she wasn’t touching that meat that stuff has probably been here a long time probably wasn’t any good and she wasn’t going to get sick from it. “Let’s go.” she headed out back towards the boat to drop the things off before getting the fuel. She was probably going to do it alone Dinah didn’t look like her mood was getting any better and didn’t want her to snap at her for some reason.
