The Martian Manhunter, J’onn J’onzz, is meditating in the training room, relaxing himself, getting ready for the upcoming battle between the heroes and the clones. For the past few weeks with things changing, J’onn felt like he was getting stressed out, so this was the perfect thing to do. J’onn felt like people couldn’t trust him, unlike those who do TRUST him and know he’s doing the right things. Why did others have a problem with someone talking to other teams? It’s not like he’s joining them, only getting common ground. They all want these damn clones gone, why did some in the league not get it?
J’onn breaths in and out slowly, still focusing as he is lifted from the ground. He always felt at peace doing this and since his time on earth, he went to yoga classes and found them useful. J’onn wished that he was still doing that but since the clone invasion, there’s no way ; though J’onn has not forgotten the techniques. Minutes later, J’onn slowly lowers himself onto the ground before he’s fully there. Then he opens his eyes and gets up before seeing someone else come in. “Ah hello there” he said to his fellow comrade and member of the Justice League. “I take it you’ve come to train” he told her.

So many things in the lives of each and every member of the JLA had been shaken over the last several months since this whole invasion of Doomsday clones the government wrought on the world swept it literally. From one side of the globe to the other. Buildings crumbled into dust. institutions destroyed, countless lives lost. Everyone all over Earth could feel the effects in one form or another. And Mary Marvel/Bromfield was once again without a family. At least without parents. Her brother was still alive. Somewhere though she had no idea where. Hadn't heard from him in months.
Her adopted parents were among the casualties of the clone holocaust for lack of a better word. She was orphaned again for the second time in her life. Noe tho0ugh things were different. She had grown alot in the last few years,. Not just aged physically but also grown mentally and emotionally. She was without flesh and blood parents but not without family and not alone. The JLA had taken her in more than ever in the last few years. They were like family and though they sometimes had their disagreements such as the one as to whether or not to ally themselves with the Avengers, an argument Mary had to admit she agreed with J'onn over though noone had yet asked her opinion, she still knew inside that they would always have each others backs. That's the nature of family.
She had to admit though she missed being down on Earth. As wrecked state as it was in and though she did like the confines of the Watchtower, she was getting homesick for mother Earth. There were safehouses that some heroes had taken to, one of them being Wayne Manor. She considered asking Batman if she could stay there but didn't want to make it sound like she were imposing.
Currently in costume, the white one, she made her winding way from the kitchen with a coffee cup in hand and headed for the training room. Expecting it to be empty but not surprised when she noticed J'onn was in here. Not wanting to interrupt, she meekly nodded and gave a small smile before starting to back up.
"I was. Didn't know you were in here right now though. I can come back later."

Mary was about to leave the gym, feeling that she was bothering the martian manhunter but she really wasn't. "Oh no Mary, it's alright. I was just about to take a break but you weren't disturbing me" he told with a small smile. J'onn never mind company or others wanting to talk to him about something that was on his/her minds. J'onn was a good person to talk to because he can give his thoughts and views about certain things in the world or life. He's always open and speaking the mind before doing this thing.
"So how are things for you here in the watchtower? Not rough I hope" he said to Mary and asked her. For someone her age, it was rough losing the people you love on earth. J'onn can relate, even when he left Mars, knowing he had no one, not even his wife of daughter. He looked to earth as his second home before the clones took over. It felt like J'onn had nothing, yes there is the justice league but it just didn't feel the same. Batman and Superman were no longer around except for Diana but she wasn't around either.
