She stood there, in the mostly constructed building that was Avengers mansion. Some pieces wree falling apart but not too many, it’d survived a crazy amount of a beating over the years, mostly through the last one or two. She looked around, ocean blue eyes piercing through the semi darkness disrupted only by a candle, turning on more hten one light would probably be a bad idea, Doomsday clones were everywhere in the cities.
She’d spent a nice amount of itme just trying to get to the building she now stood in, keeping herself small so she wouldn’t get caught by the clones that roamed the streats looking for people to prey on. She’d been looking too, looking for those either skilled enough or stupid enough to remain in the city and avoid the clones themselves. She’d noticed the clones with their enhanced senses listening for sounds of survivors, occasionally there’d be a dog or smoething but no people, not anymore…there weren’t going to be that many people opening strolling around in a nonchalant manner going about their shopping or going to work. She had been small, really small as her power had allowed her to be. AT one point one of the clones noticed her, heard the buzzing of her wings as she flew but she’d ducked into a small crevice before they could actually SEE her.
Stupid government, what were they thinking, they actually thought they could control these creatures.”She ranted once the door to the mansion was closed and was fairly sure she was alone….yeah alone because that was just what she wanted to be; alone in an old ruined city with freakish pretty much indestructible beasts roaming around looking to shoot anything that moves! She’d been alone for a while, ind of alone at least, there were some people, not hero people that she’d seen around where she stayed but no heroes, not anymore. The heroes were gone as far as she knew, most of them were. Superman had died, others had followed suit trying to protect the world they all loved and cherished so much and now.
She wasn’t sure who was alive and who wasn’t. She briefly heard that Power Girl was alive, and Thor…thank god! Pun not intended. She’d heard nothing from Hawkeye or Miss Marvel and Tony...Iron Man. Many had assumed they were all dead, had been destroyed by some clones in botched rescue missions but she wasn’t so sure, everyone died but she didn’t want them to be dead, didn’t want to be alone because they were her best friends, her family and she cared about them, Even Hank despite their little marital issues from before the Doomsday Clones, she still cared about him but most as a friend. Either way they were her friends.
She shook her head quickly to clear her head of such thoughts. “Come on girl you’re here for a reason," find information, find hopefully a weakness for the clones, find some hint of the others..even a small one.

On there way too New York was Iron Man and War Machine aka Tony Stark and James Rhodes. With the success of getting Captain America, there was still more work to be done. More heroes needed to be found safe so that they can be brought back to the Avengers underground base for training and getting ready for the next battle with the Doomsday clones. The day before today Tony and Rhodes did some sight seeing in the control room, looking for remaining superheroes and luckily they got the results : there’s another hero alive and her name is Wasp. She’s a member of the Avengers and Tony thought she was gone thanks to the clones but no longer isn’t.
Tony and Rhodes were using the Avengers jet but in invisible mode because they didn’t want to be seen by the clones. They were deadly and to be honest, the two were not ready to take them on yet. That encounter with Karen pretty much taught them that lesson. Arriving at the avengers mansion, landing down safely, Tony and James got out of the jet wearing there invisible cloaks so that the clones didn’t see them. Tony and James went inside and looked around for Wasp. The once Avenger mansion now in ruins is what Tony didn’t like to see but knew once the nightmare is over, it can be rebuild once again. “Hey Rhodey, you pick up anything on Wasp?” I asked him as he shakes his head. “Not yet Tony but don’t worry, we will” he said.
Tony and James were in the living room looking through all the rubble. There cloaks were off of them since they didn‘t need to be invisible. “Wasp! Jan! It’s Tony and Rhodes! Were here for you!” he called out.

Janet Van Dyne roamed through the empty corridors of the Avengers former base, now abandoned of its former occupants and left to rot, how sad. Briefly she wondered if J.A.R.V.I.S was still online or if he'd been shut down, maybe his consciousness had been transferred or something to another location?
Walking over to the barely powered computer data base she began to search, it was far slower then it should have been but considering the world situation that was to be expected. "Ok so lets see, Superman's status...dead, Power Girl status...alive, Iron Man's status...unknown." she frowned at thos and a sigh escaped her lips as she closed her eyes briefly in thought. This mission revealed a whole lot of nothing.
A large sound could be heard from outside, unrecognizable from the distance she was at. Turning around in worry the women began to shrink, smaller and smaller, insect like wings protruding from her back. Flying foreword, she made her way back to the living room area where the sounds of footsteps could be heard. Ducking back into a smaller space in hopes of not being discovered by the potential Doomsday Clone that may be intruding on this ruined building.
The voices reached her ears finally and she recognized them right away. The hosts of the voice were there for her and were James Rhodes whom she'd only met once or twice and...Iron Man....Tony Stark. He was alive, they both were and that did indeed register with her but more-so that Tony was alive. Swooping out from her location still in the hallway the women began to grow again back to normal size, wings retreating into her back once more.
"Tony you're alive!" she exclaimed with glee as she ran and hugged the taller man, she had intended to be professional about the situation but quickly found she couldn't do so, she'd spent months thinking he was dead, thinking so many of the people she cared for most in the world were no longer in the world.
The yellow and black clad women wrapped her arms around her friend and leaned her head into his chest, auburn hair falling slightly into her face.

Hearing a familiar voice with Glee, Tony alongside James turned around seeing Wasp. “Jan!” Tony said as the Wasp gave Tony a big hug and Tony chuckled a bit. “And it’s nice to see you as well” he told her before looking at James. “And this Rhodey. Remember? He’s my side kick and partner in crime, now apart of the Avengers” he said to her. “Yes, it’s good to see you again Jan and you look great” James complemented and Tony sighed shaking his hand. “Always have to be the charmer huh Rhodes?” he asked, teasing him a bit and Rhodes sticks out his tongue at him. Tony and James were always best friends but more like brothers. They would always have there backs no matter what happened in the real world.
“Anyway I take it you want to know what Rhodes and I have been up to” Tony said to Wasp and he cleared his throat before looking at James then back at Wasp. “Well to sum it up, James, myself, Mockingbird and others are at an Avengers base in Nevada underground. We’ve been using it for training and such for to take on the Doomsday clones” Tony explained to her as it’s Rhodes turn. “It’s good that we found you Jan so we can take you back to our base where you’ll be safe. Were trying to find a weakness inside of these clones and it’s not easy” Rhodes concluded. There were many clones out there still and it would take something big to take them down one by one.
“Jan….let me ask you this….have you seen or heard from any other hero? Avenger? Justice League?” he asked her simply and now would be a good time to know. Tony and Rhodes need more heros to join them and time is of the essence.

Janet continued to hug Tony as he spoke, listening to his greeting. She was glad he was alive and apparently safe too boot. James spoke next, and together the men explained where they'd been, what they'd been up to and that they'd found several other heroes and were training in an underground base in Nevada. She smiled at them both as she pulled away from Tony.
Turning to James the smile remained on her face. "Nice to see you again, It's been a while." she greeted happily. Turning back to Tony for a moment she thought about the question, had she run into any other heroes of late....not really, she'd known where some were or rather that they were alive. Janet shook her head solemnly with her eyes closed. "No I haven't seen any, as far as I know Batman's still running around and so is Power Girl and Thor." she replied looking at her friend.

Tony and James nodded. These days it was harder to find more allies to join theme because of there surroundings and were they were. At least Tony, Rhodes and the others wouldn't give up up hope. They believed that heroes were hiding and training but at the same time didn't want to really fight the clones. Tony hoped that wasn't the case, alongside James because it wouldn't be right all. Tony and James wanted to form an entire large group of heroes of Justice League and Avengers into one. That would take time but there is a sense of urgency among the world ; action needed to be taken and quickly as possible. "Well you are right. Batman is still around and were going to head over to the Wayne Manor in a couple of days to meet up with him and see what we can do about the clones" Tony explained to Wasp. "Thor has also been in Asgard watching over his people but we do need him with us. We also got Captain America too, even though he was doubtful on joining our team due to the government but it's all good now. We just need to get more" James. "And we also found Power Girl but she's different then before. It's a long story but to make it short, she's back half cyborg, half human. I'm going to see her in a couple of days for a visit" Tony told her and James shook his head, not sure if it was a good idea on that part. "But anyway Jan, how have you been holding up here?" James asked her. "I know it's been diffucult being here alone with no one else" he said to Jan, wondering what she's been up to.

Jan smiled as she nodded in acknowledgement of the status of Power Girl. So she was half cyborg?"Oh that is so Cool, she's like, part terminator!" she exclaimed in amusement. She stood back a few steps away from her friends to look them over. They both looked like they'd been doing pretty well for themselves. "You both look well, I'm glad." she told them with a smile.
"I haven't actually run into any other peroes, just kinda heard through rumours. I haven't been alone, not exactly, not till recently. There was this place, kinda hidden kinda not where normal civilians were hiding out with me, it gave them hope or protection or something...some of them just didn't like that I was there to begin with, thought I'd lead the clones right to them." she explained. "In the end, that was exactly what I ended up doing, most of them died, the ones that lived ran away somewhere else, toward where you guys said you were actually...didn't even know I was being followed." she said sadly. Janet felt that because of her almost fifteen people had died, the others that had lived making up a grand total of twenty people she had tried to protect.
Shaking her head once again, Janet looked back at Tony and James before speaking once again. "You don't wanna hear the depressing parts of my life though, and anyway on the bright side at least some of them got away." she finished, Truth be told Janet Van Dyne..the great superhero The Wasp, wasn't exactly sure if she was saying that to reassure her friends or herself.

“The only thing that matters Jan is that you’re here and alive but coming with us to our base. Then we’ll go from there plus Rhodes and I think we’ve figured out a weakness from reading the reports we’ve been studying” Tony said to Jan with Rhodes getting out a cell phone from his pocket. “Hey guys, I’m going to contact the avenger base and let them know about you Jan. I’ll just be outside of the living room, no far” Rhodes told them as Tony nods his head as James leaves the living room. Now it’s just Tony and Jan, no one else. Tony was thinking about his avengers since the attack but also Jan too. Jan is like family to Tony but something more? The Golden Avenger didn’t know if it was anything outside of the box.
“Well since it’s just you and me, let me say that you did what you had to do to survive” he said to Jan. “I mean there comes a time were we all want to give up and surrender but you didn’t. You hang in there in the nick of time and even helped people who felt like they had no place to go” he told her, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Since the days of our early avengers missions, you are one of the most reliable and trusted people I have ever know of since day one. You and Hank make a good team back then but now with getting the help of every hero were going to take the world back to where it should be” telling the Wasp before something else came to his mind. “So have you seen Hank? Did he make it?”
