Absence Notice for Loki

I'm writing this for Loki.

He's going to have to take an absence, though I'm unsure of its duration. His dog, Maxx, isn't eating or moving around and snapped at him just a few minutes ago. It's a breed issue, unpreventable, and he's going to have to be put-down. So I'd like to ask that you all keep Loki and Maxx in your thoughts, prayers, and just send him love, comfort, and support. It's never an easy thing to lose a pet, but it's even harder when you have to make this decision for their benefit and comfort.

Take all the time you need, Loki. <3

Just to update everyone on the situation. I spent over a good four hours today with him just laying in my lap outside. I just wanted to spend sometime with him today, just me and him. He passed away today around 7:30pm in my arms. So I'm going to be kinda strange for a bit.

Maxx, You are my Fenris, you were my child. From the moment I picked you from the litter when you didnt even come up to my knee only 6 weeks old. The times when we played fetch and It seemed like I did more chasing the tennis ball then you did to having you where you got bigger then I am. 12 years of a bond that never faltered. Laying on my feet to get my attention when life got hectic. Making me stop for just even if it was five minutes to give you attention or have you drag me across the yard by the rope I used to pick you up off the ground with. I love you buddy, I never wanted to let go.
