Powergirl was brought back from the brink of death by Spiral's brilliant mastery over cybernetics and Zatana's powerful magic.
But she isn't the same.
She's lost hope. Her love and faith in humanity started to die when superman died and now that she's been resurrected back into a world of death and destruction, it's hard to believe in anything. She's floundering, looking for anything to believe in. She's a reckless short sighted force of Retribution, blind vengeance eager to strike at any wrong, no mater the circumstance, with absolute prejudice and zero remorse.
The woman she was going to marry is either dead or missing, all of her living family is dead or missing and the casualty list from the war with the doomsday clones is enough to break any ones spirit.
She's been rebuilt, yes. Her body is better now than it was before. But how is her mind? Spiral has no special tools to mend the damage done there. She's unstable and looking for a reason to unleash the fury she has welling up inside her. Fury for the injustice and the wrong wrought on the world. But she's also confused. Who're the good guys, who're the bad guys? The lines are now more blurry than they ever have been before. Powergirl's always been one to give the benefit of the doubt and that morality is now causing her to falter. With her guiding light dead and her reason to stare down eternity as an immortal god-like kryptonian gone, how will she fend off the throws of absolute insanity?
She's a ticking time bomb in desperate need of a reason to care. She needs friends, she needs family and loved ones. Any reason at all is better than no reason.
Deep down power girl is a gentle person, she's kind, and fun. Light hearted and open minded. Brilliant and willful, she is taking the end of the world harder than any one could have predicted.
I'm interested in starting plots with anybody about just about anything. Potential friends, potential enemies. Everything is up in the air now. For fights and enemies, my deus ex machina is Powergirl's own wavering morality and sanity. She'll grand stand, but in a straight up fight, i'll find ways to keep her from killing or seriously maiming people. Of course there's always the option of going all out, and then finding interesting ways to recover any damage done later.
I'm also interested in romance, actually it's probably my number one interest in RP. Powergirl is a lesbian how ever, so for her, it'll only be for females, the only males that I think might get by are the ones trying to become female(male to female transgenders hehe). Now, in the current cannon, Powergirl had a fiance before everything went to hell, i've left ALL the details about her vague on purpose in case some one wanted to pick that person up. This person could be any one or anything, an alien, a sorceress, a super hero, a super villain(Complicated yummy drama!). I'm open for discussion. (Lastly, I do do sex scenes, I think they're interesting if done tastefully and crucial to romance RP development, but I respect the opinion that some feel they're optional, I don't force it.)
I'm a really experienced role player and I enjoy driving plot in interesting directions, I've run several role playing communities in the past, one of which was my own creation(everything from scratch).
